Robert A. W. Cady was born December 24, 1942, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He passed into heaven on May 17, 2026, at age 83 after battling cancer for 3 years. Robert was a San Diego State graduate and entered the Air Force upon graduation where he served his country 4 years. Robert then worked for the State of California as an adjudicator supervisor for EDD for 33 years. Upon retirement, he settled in Yucaipa, CA with his wife to be near their daughter and grandchildren where he lived until his passing. Robert was very active his whole life and enjoyed running and tennis. He was also creative and loved writing poems, personal acrostics to his family, etc. He also spent much of his time playing Scrabble, and actually entered a few tournaments. He was a man of faith and served faithfully in his church. Robert is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sandi, his daughter Angela and her husband Mike, his daughter Stephanie and her husband Greg and their children Karinne and Tyler. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
