Robert (Bob) D. Baker, age 94, of Yucaipa, CA died peacefully in his sleep at home on Friday, November 7, 2025, surrounded by family and loved ones. Bob, youngest son of the late Wilfred and Sylvia Mae Baker, was born on February 25, 1931 in Huntington Park, CA.
He worked as an aerospace tool builder at Rohr Industries in Riverside, CA for 35 years. Bob had a passion for camping and enjoyed traveling throughout the United States in his Revcon motorhome with family and friends. He was active in the Revconeers motorhome club, where he served as the western regional president for several years. He also enjoyed helping others, which he did well into his early 90’s. He will be most remembered for his caring, patient, and nonjudgemental nature.
In addition to his parents and four siblings, Bob was preceded in death by his first wife Vivian Baker; his second wife Shirley Baker; and his daughter Denise Baker.
He is survived by his sons Ron Baker and Michael DeGifford; daughter Diana Hudson; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and his long-time companion, Donna Spahn.
A graveside service celebrating Bob’s life will be held on December 5, 2025 at 11am at Hillside Memorial Park, in Redlands, CA.
