Richard Ramirez Ruiz, Sr., age 70, passed away on December 22, 2013 in Colton, California. He was born on January 31, 1943 in Redlands, CA. Richard was a counselor supervisor for the State of California Department of Corrections for 23 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Ruiz; sons: Richard Jr., Manuel & Frank Ruiz; daughters, Lisa & Melissa; brother, Jesse; sisters: Josie, Barbara and Nellie; and 16 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 11:00am at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, Redlands, CA with burial to follow at Hillside Memorial Park, Redlands, California.
