It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dad Paul Louis Sanchez, who passed away on July 12th, 2026, at the age of 73.
Paul was born on April 15th 1953, in Greenfield, Ohio to Pauline and Louis Sanchez. He was a devoted husband, father, grandpa, brother, and friend whose sense of humor touched everyone who knew him. He had a contagious cheeky smile. With that Sanchez attitude.
Paul spent 30+ years working for Loma Linda University, where he was respected for his hard work and dedication. Paul loved cooking for his family, making his famous potato salad, and watching his son play football along with attending high school and college graduations. He was also a seasonal firefighter with Cal Fire in his younger years.
He is preceded in death by his mother Pauline, sister Sherrie Ann, and beloved wife Terri.
He is survived by his father Louis Sanchez (spouse Audrey) of Oklahoma, his son P. J Sanchez (spouse Kimberly) of Florida, his two daughters Jennifer Sanders (spouse Edward) of Florida, and Thalassa Kettering (spouse David) of California. Also 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren and extended family members and dear friends who will miss him deeply.
Visitation (9:00 AM-11:00 AM) and memorial service (11:00 AM to 12:30 PM) will be held at Emmerson-Barlett Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Ave, Redlands, CA, on July 29, 2026 followed by graveside service at Hillside Memorial Park, 1540 Alessandro Rd, Redlands, CA. Please join us for a potluck at Shirley Sanchez’s house 1385 Agate Ave Mentone, CA following the graveside service. Come share stories, have a good laugh or cry, and visit with family/friends.
