Starts at 11:00 am (Pacific time)
Pamela Joyner Schroeder, known lovingly as Pam, passed away on May 17, 2026, in
Redlands, California, at the age of 74. Born on December 6, 1951, in Memphis, Tennessee,
Pam lived a life marked by warmth, generosity, and a genuine love for the people around her.
Pam graduated from nursing school in 1971 and devoted herself to caring for others, a calling
that came naturally to someone so friendly and thoughtful. Her nurturing spirit extended well
beyond her professional life and into everything she did. Whether she was tending to her
beloved rosebushes, cheering on her favorite sports teams, or planning her next travel
adventure, Pam brought enthusiasm and joy to every pursuit.
She was also someone who truly loved to host. Her home was always open, and she had a gift
for making everyone feel welcome and at ease. That same generous spirit carried into her
deep involvement in the Redlands community. Pam was a dedicated member of the Bowl
Associates, PEO, the Assistance League of Redlands, and numerous other organizations. She
believed in showing up, lending a hand, and making her community a better place.
Pam and Donald Schroeder were married in 2005, and they shared a wonderful life together.
Don preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughters, Holly Brawner, Diana Harper and Elizabeth Schroeder; her
sons, John Schroeder and Patrick Schroeder; daughters’ in-law Cecelia Schroeder and Tressa
Barclay; her sister, Mona Dallas; her brother, William S. Joyner II; her sister-in-law Denise
Joyner; her niece, Deanna Dallas; her nephews, Kelly Dallas, David Dallas, William S.
Joyner III, and Jeff Joyner; and several beloved grandchildren Harper Brawner, Hudson
Brawner, Owen Schroeder, Isaac Schroeder, all of whom held a special place in her heart.
Pam's faith was a quiet and steady presence in her life, and it is fitting that her memorial
service will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church in Redlands, California, on June 6 at 11:00
AM. A small reception will follow.
“Those we love can never be more than a thought away, for as long as there's a memory, they
live on in our hearts to stay”.-Unknown
