Nami Messenger, beloved wife, mother and daughter, passed away on March 4, 2026. Born on March 14, 1966, in South Korea. She moved to the United States in pursuit of better business opportunities, where she met her future husband, Ronald Lee. They were married on October 5, 1991, in San Diego, California surrounded by friends and family.

As a military spouse, she traveled frequently. Giving birth to her son, Damen, in 1997 in Honolulu, HI, and her daughter, Savannah, in 2001 in San Diego, CAbefore settling down in Moreno Valley, CA.

As a dedicated mother, she supported her children’s education through volunteer work and constant creative encouragement. She found joy in caring for others and creating moments of comfort and connection, often bringing people together through shared meals and thoughtful gestures; loving nothing more than for community to be found in her home. She had an eye for detail and a passion for the arts—specifically flower arranging—which took her as far as the 1988 Olympics. She could often be found taking care of her garden or with animals both domestic and wild.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Lee and her two children, Damen and Savannah, who will carry her kindness, creativity, and strength with them always. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered in the hearts of all who knew her.
