Mary Lou Foor Russell

Redlands

It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Lou Foor Russell on Sunday, August 17, 2025. Mary Lou went to eternal rest peacefully at her home in Redlands. She was born on November 18, 1935, in Pataskala, Ohio. 

She lived in Redlands for more than 40 years and was a beloved pre-school teacher at First Lutheran Children's Center for more than 20 years. She was very active with cooking clubs and was a weekly volunteer at the Redlands Assistance League.

Mary Lou is survived by her two sons, Craig and Ryan Russell, four grandchildren, Nolen, Chandler, Hailey and Ian Russell. Two younger sisters, Donna Foor Anderson and Tamara Foor Hoovler both of Ohio.

Her funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 14 at 2 pm in the Redlands First United Methodist Church on Olive Avenue.

She will be laid to rest in a crypt together with her late husband U.S. Air Force Colonel James F. Russell at the Riverside National Cemetery on Monday, September 15 at 12:30pm
