Marjorie Marie Hiebert, a beloved mother, devoted volunteer, and cherished friend to many, passed away on June 30, 2026, at her home in Redlands, California. She was 85 years old.

Born on September 15, 1940, in New York, Marjorie lived a life defined by warmth, generosity, and an unwavering commitment to those around her. In 1961, she married the love of her life, Ron Hiebert, and together they built a family rooted in love and service. Marjorie later fulfilled a longtime personal goal when she graduated from college in 1986, a testament to her determination and belief in lifelong learning.

Marjorie was known above all for her love of helping others. She gave generously of her time and talent to numerous organizations throughout the Redlands community, volunteering with the YWCA, the Redlands Assistance League, Youth Hope, and McKinley School. Her dedication to service touched countless lives and left a lasting imprint on the community she called home.

Beyond her volunteer work, Marjorie was a woman of many passions. She was a Master Tole Painter, a skilled artist whose beautiful creations reflected her patience and eye for detail. She loved tending to her garden, finding joy and peace among the flowers and greenery she so carefully cultivated. An adventurous spirit, she traveled the world, embracing new cultures and experiences with curiosity and delight. Those who knew her well will fondly remember her love of baking and her legendary tea parties, occasions that brought people together and made everyone feel welcome at her table.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ron Hiebert. She is survived by her two sons, John Hiebert and Mark Hiebert, many grandchildren and great grandchildren who will carry forward the legacy of kindness and compassion she so beautifully modeled throughout her life.

Marjorie's faith was a quiet and steady source of strength throughout her years, and her family takes comfort in the assurance that she now rests in the loving arms of her Lord and Savior.
