Lupe Casarez Rangel

Lupe Casarez Rangel, age 75, passed peacefully in her home, while on hospice after a 3 year battle with cancer on December 29, 2016. She was surrounded by her children.
Lupe was born on December 28, 1941 in Delano, CA. She was a long time resident of South Gate, CA and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Lupe worked 17 years as a cosmetologist, and 17 years for General Motors, Building Automobiles.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Rangel Sr. ;her son, Richard Rangel Jr.; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth; grandchildren: Crystal, Hank, Vanessa, Richard III; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Lillian Uriaz and Mary Mata.
Lupe is preceded in death by her parents, Angel & Otilia Casarez; brother's, Carlos, Angel, & Jesus "Chuey"; sisters, Celia & Mercy.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 9th, 2017 at 11:00am at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Avenue, Redlands, CA with burial to follow at Hillside Memorial Park, Redlands, CA.
