Kenneth William Almanza

June 4, 1960 — April 16, 2023

Kenneth W. Almanza, a long-time resident of Redlands, passed away on April 16, 2023. He was born on June 4, 1960, in Redlands, California. Kenny, as he was known to friends and family, grew up in Redlands and was a hard worker and a master of many trades. He was employed by Peterson Grading and Paving, where he worked on asphalt for 45 years.

Kenny was known for his kind and helpful nature; he was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need, no questions asked. He was a loving husband to his wife, Lonia Almanza, and a devoted father to all of his children, Kenny Jr.,Molly, Sydney , Nathan, Austin & Emily Rose. Kenny has proceeded to heaven with his father, Manuel Almanza, passed away in 2007. His mother, Molly Almanza, died in 1989, and his sister, Anna, in 2000.


Kenny's surviving siblings include his brothers Gary, Manuel, James, Michael, Tom, Joe, George, and Paul, and his sisters Yolanda, Jeanne, Janice, and Susie. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at Emmerson-Bartlett on May 2, 2023, at 10:00 AM, followed by a reception at the American Legion Post #650 1532 Church Street in Redlands, CA.


Kenny will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
