We honor the passing of Josephine Gonzales, who left this world peacefully on June 11, 2026, at the age of 83. A loving spirit who devoted herself to all of her loved ones and those she knew.
Originating from Redlands, California, she built a life around kindness, love, and compassion.
After graduating from Redlands Senior High School, she dedicated her career to medical administration, skillfully balancing her family life and devoted 65-year marriage to her beloved husband, Henry Gonzales, who preceded her in death.
Motherhood was a role Josie cherished above all, embracing it with tenderness and unwavering care. Her life stood as a testament to perseverance and genuine empathy. Family was her greatest treasure. She celebrated every milestone, remembered every birthday, and made sure each loved one felt valued and deeply loved. Her affection was constant, heartfelt, empathetic and generously shared. Josephine had a deep passion for fashion, music, and dancing which she enjoyed sharing throughout her lifetime with those who loved her.
She leaves behind four children, nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren - all inheritors of her enduring spirit, wisdom, and boundless love.
She is also survived by her two brothers, Manuel Kelly and Louie Kelly. Though she is no longer with us in body, her memory and spirit will continue to live on in the lives and hearts that she has touched.
