Born on January 13, 1948, in Ogden, Utah to John Ellis and Hazel Verenna Ames.
Survivors include her children, Mel Winn of West Valley City, UT and Hazel (Verenna) McLeod of Colton, CA, 7 Grandchildren and two siblings, Minnie Rice and George Ames.
She was preceded in death by her parents John Ellis Ames and Hazel Verenna Hansen Ames, a sister Helen Kay Hansen Hunt, Anna Gene Watson, John Ellis Ames Jr, and Norman Delmar Ames.
