Gilbert was born in Banning, California to Adolph & Pauline Torrez on July 23, 1938. He received his angel wings on October 20, 2023.

Gil worked as a Truck Driver for 20 years, and at Lumber Yard for 15 years. He was a hard worker and a loving husband, dad, grandpa, great-grandpa, and great great-grandpa.

My dad will be greatly missed by his daughter, Martha Rodriguez and his two sons, Gilbert (Emily) Torrez & Tim Torrez; 4 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Gilbert was preceded in death by his dad & mom and lovely wife, Toni. He will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace Dad.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 16th, 2023, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm with a rosary at 6:00pm at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chape, 703 Brookside Avenue, Redlands, CA 92373.

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 17th, 2023, at 11:00am at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 1205 Columbia Street, Redlands, California 92374, followed by burial at 1:00pm at Hillside Memorial Park, 1540 Alessandro Road, Redlands, California 92373.
