The world lost a little bit of its joy on August 4, 2026, with the passing of David Crossland, at the age of 62.
David was known for his sense of humor, his ability to fix just about anything, and, most of all, for simply being that guy—the one you could count on, the one who would show up, and the one who could always bring a little laughter with him. Throughout his life, David found joy in his work, his faith, and, above all, his family. He had a heart for helping others and was especially known for his willingness to show up for anyone who needed him, often without being asked.
David will be deeply missed by his wife, Yvette Crossland; his mother, Janice Crossland; his sister, Debbie Crossland; Sandy Evans-Snowball; his brother, Randy Evans; his children, David Crossland, Danielle Crossland, Aaron Campbell, Alfredo Campbell, and Adrian Barbo; and his grandchildren, Jordan Crossland, Hailey Crossland, Mia Crossland, Brody Crossland, Gage Garcia, Raymond Gray, Gavin Campbell, Keegan Campbell, and Samuel Barbo. He will also be deeply missed by countless family members, friends, and loved ones whose lives were touched by his humor, generosity, kindness, and love.
We are grateful for everyone who has reached out, prayed for our family, shared memories of David, and loved him throughout his life. It means more to us than we can say. For those who would like to honor David with flowers, the family would be grateful to have them present at his service. To make arrangements simple, we recommend Hockridge Florist in Redlands, a florist our family has trusted for the service. Of course, flowers may be sent through any florist you prefer.
Though our hearts grieve David’s absence, we are grateful for the life he lived, the memories he gave us, and the love he shared so freely. His laughter, his kindness, and the way he showed up for the people he loved will remain a part of us. His legacy will live on in the lives he touched and in the memories we will carry with us always.
