Dale Howard Anderson, our beloved Patriarch, passed away on April 26, 2025 at the age of 72 at his home in Highland, California. Dale was born on June 3rd, 1952 in Youngstown, Ohio to Howard and Irene Anderson and fondly remembered his childhood adventures growing up “back east”.

After graduating from Hubbard High School in 1971, Dale joined the Air Force and was stationed at Vandenberg AFB, an experience that led to him relocate to California with the love of his life, Kathleen. Dale and Kathy settled in Highland, and had one daughter, Elissa (Anderson) Padilla.

Dale was a graduate of California State University, San Bernardino, and spent his life working in finance. He enjoyed his work with numbers and only retired begrudgingly.

Dale was a kind, smart man with a heart of gold. He loved to make people laugh, and will be fondly remembered for his irreverent sense of humor. He never met a stranger or forgot a face, and he was the reigning King of dad jokes. Dale had a green thumb, and truly loved tending to his yard and garden, often spending hours outdoors. He loved to walk his dog and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his family.

As the number one Papa, Dale enjoyed watching his granddaughter play soccer, and often chatted with his Airman grandson - both made him incredibly proud.

Dale will be deeply missed every day. He is survived by his lifelong love of 50 years Kathleen Marie Anderson, their daughter Elissa Marie Padilla, her husband Mark Anthony Padilla, Jr., his two grandchildren, Gabriella Grace Padilla, and Kaden Ryan Sinn as well as his two sisters, Nancy Kuzma and Sandra James of Ohio.

The family will have a private celebration for Dale.
