Christian Alexander Landeros

Christian Alexander Landeros was born on June 14, 1998, in Fontana, California. At a young age, he was diagnosed with a rare metabolic disorder known as Cystinosis. Despite the challenges of this life-altering condition, Christian’s spirit remained unbreakable. He faced years of dialysis, multiple surgeries, and daily medications with quiet strength and grace, never allowing his diagnosis to take away his laughter or his love for life. Christian lived a life marked by sincerity, resilience, and unwavering determination.

He attended Meadow Creek Elementary, Moore Middle School, and graduated from Yucaipa High School in 2017. He later pursued studies at Crafton Hills College, continuing to follow his goals with perseverance and drive.

From a young age, Christian’s brightness, kindness, and energy stood out. Though he was once considered for special education due to his condition, his mother, Maria Landeros, advocated fiercely for him—knowing he was just like any other child. And she was right. Christian loved riding bikes, playing outside, and spending time with his friends. He was known for riding around town and welcoming everyone into his home, where his mom would order pizzas and fill the house with laughter and warmth.

In college, Christian struggled to choose a major—until he discovered a passion for technology. He taught himself how to build a computer from scratch, constantly researching the latest updates and mods. His custom PC, encased in glass and equipped with a unique projection feature, perfectly reflected his creativity and brilliance.

Christian was also a devoted anime fan, especially of Dragon Ball Z. His favorite character was Trunks, and at one point, he tried to learn Japanese and Chinese to enjoy anime without subtitles. Though the language lessons didn’t last long, his love for anime never faded. He could name any show by plot or obscure title, and always had a recommendation ready. He loved attending anime conventions with his siblings—Eric, Jonathan, and Anabel—returning home with plushies and merch that brought him endless joy.

Gaming was another of Christian’s passions. He especially loved Call of Duty and Five Nights at Freddy’s, spending countless hours playing with his younger brother Julian. His days were filled with anime, gaming, laughter, and family—and, of course, food. He had a special love for TGI Fridays’ Jack Daniel’s sauce, dipping everything in it—even Chicken McNuggets. Every meal with Christian was an adventure.

One of Christian’s greatest wishes was to have a baby brother. Already blessed with two older brothers and a younger sister, he longed for another sibling to share his world with. When Maria became pregnant with Julian, Christian was overjoyed. Despite their 17-year age gap, their bond was immediate and inseparable. Christian would carry Julian upstairs, tuck him in, and patiently teach him to play games. He adored him with his whole heart.

Christian had a one-of-a-kind sense of humor and a signature smirk that could light up any room. His laughter was infectious, and his presence comforting. Even in his final years, as his health declined, Christian brought joy to those around him.

Throughout it all, his mother, Maria, never left his side. She cared for him every day with unmatched love and devotion. When he lost the ability to walk, she was there. When he couldn’t feed himself, she fed him by hand. When doctors recommended formula he couldn’t tolerate, Maria came up with her own solution—blending homemade meals like beef stew and noodle soup into a nourishing liquid. Her love, instinct, and care helped Christian regain strength, even as his condition worsened.

Christian loved movies, shows, and music, but as time passed, he grew curious about what his mom was watching. She had been following La Casa de los Famosos, and soon, Christian got hooked too. He and Maria became loyal fans of Team Lupillo Rivera, bonding over every episode, fan theory, and TikTok live.

Late-night chats became their tradition—often staying up until 2 or 3 a.m. laughing and analyzing the drama. Anabel and Eric would wonder why they were so tired the next day, not knowing the joy and connection those quiet nights brought them.
