Cheryl Lynn Beckwith-Lanphere

April 22, 1963 — March 17, 2024

Cherri, passed away on March 17, 2024, in Riverside, CA, following injuries sustained in a tragic automobile accident. She was born on April 22, 1963, in East Grand Rapids, MI, and spent the majority of her life in southern California, where she lovingly raised her two sons, who were the center of her world, as were her cherished grandchildren.


Cherri had a deep love for the outdoors, finding solace and joy in gardening and caring for her plants. Her green thumb was a testament to her nurturing spirit and her ability to find beauty in nature's creations.


She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas M. Beckwith Sr., and her son, David L. Beckwith, whose untimely passing left an irreplaceable void in her heart, never to be filled.


Cherri is survived by her beloved husband, David Lanphere, her devoted son, Cody Beckwith, and her granddaughter, Jewleianna, whom she raised as her own daughter. She also leaves behind grandchildren Aleigha, Tommy, Brendan, and great-grandson Greyson, who brought immense joy and pride to her life. Her memory will forever be cherished by her mother, Marylin Beckwith Pyard, and her siblings: Thomas II (Derone) Beckwith, Miranda Venzuela, Jeremy "Ross" (Linda) Beckwith, Tara (Charles) Mundorff, Kimberly (Tony) Pollak, Matthew (Kate) Beckwith, and Scott (Jamie) Beckwith, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.


Cherri's kindness, generosity, and unwavering love touched the lives of all who knew her. Her legacy of love and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.


A memorial service to celebrate Cherri's life will be held at Emmerson-Bartlett Memorial Chapel in Redlands, CA. on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at 1pm.


Though she may no longer walk beside us, Cherri's spirit will forever guide and inspire us. May she rest in eternal peace.
