Amy LeNay Shaffer, once a radiant light in the lives of her loved ones, passed away on June 9, 2025, in Highland, California. Born on October 20, 1982, in Fontana, California, Amy touched the hearts of many with her kindness, creativity, and unyielding spirit. A graduate of San Gorgonio High School in the class of 2001, she carried with her the values of hard work and determination, which she instilled in her children.
Amy was a devoted mother to her beloved children: Presley, who is 22; Tristan, age 17; and Joshua, age 16. Her love for them knew no bounds, and she treasured every moment spent nurturing their dreams and ambitions. Each artistic endeavor she poured her heart into was designed not just as an expression of her own creativity but as a way to inspire her children to embrace their passions as well.
In addition to her role as a mother, Amy was a sister to Mike and Danny, who cherished their memories with her, and she was the daughter of Philip Ambrose and Sandra Farris. Each family member remembers her laughter, her artistry, and her thoughtful words that left lasting impressions on their hearts.
Amy's vibrant spirit was reflected in her love for art, poetry, music, and cooking. She found joy in the simple things, often filling her home with the sound of her favorite songs while creating culinary delights for her family. Her creativity manifested in every piece of art she crafted, a tangible expression of her innermost thoughts and feelings.
As we gather to celebrate her life, visitation will be held on June 28, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Emmerson-Bartlett Memorial Chapel in Redlands, CA, followed by a funeral service starting at 11:30 AM. Amy will then be laid to rest at Hillside Memorial Park at 1:00 PM, where friends and family can pay their final respects.
Though Amy has departed from this world, her spirit remains forever imprinted in the hearts of those she loved. She leaves behind a legacy of love, creativity, and the cherished memories that will continue to bring solace to her family and friends in the years to come. Her gentle soul will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
