Winona Viola Yarick Winona Viola Yarick of Yucaipa, Ca, age 93 passed into eternity on August 27, 2013 of natural causes. She was born on September 28, 1919 in Vallejo, California to William and Nellie Conklin. She married the late James G. Meyer of Vashon Island, Washington and was later preceded in death by Fred Yarick of Yucaipa. Winona is survived by her two children Brian Meyer of Yucaipa, Ca and Kathie Meyer of Port Townsend, Washington; Grandchildren: Joel Meyer of Belize City, Belize, Central America; Betony Byers of Costa Mesa, Ca and Ryan Meyer of Twin Peaks, Ca; great grandchildren, and Sister, Gladys Willis of Bremerton, Washington; Sister Wilma Garley of Port Orchard, Washington and many nephews and nieces. Winona was a member of Newlife Christian Fellowship in Calimesa, Ca. She was a homemaker and loved being known for her famous pies and cookie baking. Memorials may be made to Newlife Christian Fellowship, Calimesa, Ca or Mountains Community Hospital Skilled Nursing facility, in Lake Arrowhead, Ca. A potluck celebration of Winona s life will be locally held at Northview Mobile Estates Clubhouse, 10675 Bryant Street. Yucaipa, California on Sunday October 06, 2013 at 2:30pm and on October 12, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Lilliwaup, Washington at Lilliwaup Community Center.
