Walter David Chapin

David Chapin passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016 at the age of 80. He was born August 23, 1936 in Corona, California where he resided for many years. He was a resident of Yucaipa, California at the time of his death. He worked for CalTrans for 41 years. He retired in 1999 as assistant superintendent. He loved spending time with his family, camping and traveling. He is survived by his wife Marge Chapin, his four children: three sons, Duane of Highland, David and Tom of Missouri and daughter Susie of Yucaipa, 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be Saturday, September 24, 11:00am at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 35208 Yucaipa Boulevard, Yucaipa, California 92399. Viewing one hour prior.
