Stan James Shambaugh

Stan Shambaugh , age 56, passed away September 27, 2021, in Banning, CA. Stan was born to Bruce & Linda Shambaugh on October 15, 1964 in Evansville, Indiana. Stan was a husband, step-father, papaw, son, brother, uncle and friend. Stan lived life to the fullest! He lived on his terms, with an open heart, and was never afraid to share his opinion.
Stan had a zeal for life that guided him on adventures around the globe and brought lifelong friendships from many of the places he called home; California, Colorado and Mexico to name a few.
His sense for adventure and love for his country made it imperative that he serve his Nation. Stan was a proud member of the United States Army and when his tour of duty was complete he continued to protect the community by serving in the private security industry. His decision to protect was a blessing in disguise because this is where he met his wife of eight years, Gloria.
Stan, Gloria and many of their friends would often call Disneyland their home away from home and one could always count on listening to some Jimmy Buffett on the drive to Disney.

Stan is survived by his father, Bruce Shambaugh, brother, David Shambaugh and his loving wife, Gloria Shambaugh.
A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, October 26th, 2021 at 11:00am at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 35208 Yucaipa Blvd., Yucaipa, Ca with burial to follow with Military Honors at Riverside National Cemetery at 1:30pm
