Soledad A. Badillo

August 15, 1918 — August 28, 2011

After 93 wonderful years with us, the Lord has called Soledad Badillo to join him as an Angel where she was reunited with her husband Esteban and her son Mandis. She is survived by her daughters; Guadalupe Gonzalez and Martha Villagran, and her son Hector Robert Rodriguez. She was also the beloved grandmother to nine grandchildren and Nana to 19 great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren. Soledad was born in Chihuahua Mexico but moved to El Paso, Texas before turning one year old. She has been a resident of Yucaipa for 27 years where she attended Saint Frances X Cabrini Catholic Church. She was an active member of the church and loved the new editions made recently. She loved to show off her beautiful church. Soledad passed on Sunday August 28 and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. She played an instrumental roll in raising each of her grandchildren, as well as the great-great grandchildren who reside locally. Although she is no longer with us, the family feels extremely lucky to have had her as long as we did. She will always be remembered as a beautiful feisty women who loved with all her heart. Our sadness is for ourselves as we know that she is no longer in pain and we will meet up with her one day. The world lost an incredible woman but the Angels above have certainly gained from our loss. Services will be held on Friday September 2nd at Saint Frances X Cabrini Catholic Church 12687 California Street Yucaipa, Ca 92399 at 9:00 a.m. Family is being assisted by Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel 35208 Yucaipa Blvd Yucaipa, Ca.
