Sergeant Danny B. Rice

It is with a heavy heart that I report the passing of Sergeant Danny Rice, who passed away this
morning, February 2, 2022.

Danny was hired on January 5, 2002. He worked at the West Valley Detention Center and
patrolled the Rancho Cucamonga, Yucaipa, and Highland Stations. Danny promoted to Detective
on January 23, 2016. As a Detective, he was assigned to the Scientific Investigations Division
and the Rancho Cucamonga Station. Danny was promoted to Sergeant on November 6, 2021
and was assigned to the West Valley Detention Center.

Danny is survived by his wife Jacqueline, and his daughters, Danielle, Jaymee, and Kaylee.
