Rudy Papo Sanchez

Rudy P. Sanchez "Papo", age 82 from Highland, passed away December 23, 2010 at Loma Linda VA Hospital. Rudy was born to Maria and Frank Sanchez on March 13, 1928 in Del Rosa, CA. Rudy Proudly served his country in the US Navy as a Seabee during WWII, also worked 35 years as a Jet/Rocket mechanic at Norton Air Force Base and 10 years at March Air Force Base as a civil engineer. Papo leaves his loving wife, Sallie of 62 years; son, Ralph (Cheri) Sanchez of Devore; Daughters: Barbara Perry of Highland and Debra (Michael) Newman of Alta Loma; four grandchildren: Alycia (Michael) Madden, Jefferey, Jessica and Amanda Newman; six great grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Jacob, Nick, Nathan, Jonny and Jenna. You will always be in our hearts, never forgotten, We love you Papo! Military Honors were given on January 13, 2011. Private graveside services were held by his immediate family at Riverside National Cemetery.
