Roger Burton Holden

Roger Burton Holden, a native of Redlands, CA passed peacefully on Tuesday, October 6th after a very short illness. Born on December 20, 1933 to Luther and Helene Holden, he attended McKinley Elementary and Redlands High School. He graduated from San Jose State University. Roger owned Redlands Paint Store and retired to Flagstaff, AZ in 1992. He was active in both the Redlands and Flagstaff communities, volunteering with several non-profit organizations. He was a long time member of Redlands Noon Kiwanis. Roger enjoyed handball and racquetball, world travel, and riding off-road motorcycles with his fellow members of the Redlands Good Guys Motorcycle Club. Roger is survived by his wife of 59 years, Jane, their children, Karen Holden Hartman of Williamsburg, VA, David Holden of Redlands, CA, and Steve Holden of Auburn, CA and their families including six grandchildren. A memorial service is planned for Friday, October 23. Emmerson/Bartlett Mortuary will be handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Redlands YMCA.
