Robert Edwin Keiji Valdez

ROBERT EDWIN KEIJI VALDEZ, Esq., age 53, a resident of San Bernardino for 27 years, passed away on March 21, 2011, in Redlands, CA, at his parent's home, due to renal cell sarcoma (cancer). Robert graduated from Yokota High School, in Yokota Japan, in 1975. He served in the United States Air Force from 1978-1980. In 1981 he received his Associate in Arts degree from San Bernardino Valley College, in San Bernardino, CA, and in 1987 he received his Bachelor of Arts/Economics degree from California State University, in San Bernardino, CA. In 1994 he received his Juris Doctorate degree from Western State University, in Fullerton, CA. In June of 1995, after his first attempt, he passed the State Bar of the Supreme Court of California. He was also an Attorney & Counselor of said District Court, Supreme Court of the State of California in 1996. He is survived by his his wife, Maria A. Valdez, his son, Robert E.K. Valdez, Jr., and his daughter, Stephanie Maria Yoshiko Valdez, all of San Bernardino, CA; father, Jose D. Valdez, and mother, Lydia K. Valdez, both of Redlands, CA; his brother, Ralph E. S. Valdez of Chandler, AZ; and sister, Naomi R. Heinsma of Ridgecrest, CA. Rosary/Prayer Vigil: Wednesday, March 30, 2011, 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Cathedral, 265 W. 25th Street, San Bernardino, CA 92406. Burial: Riverside National Memorial Cemetery. Family under the care of Emmerson-Bartlett Memorial Chapel.
