Richard Mathew Dombrowski

Richard (Rick) Dombrowski of Redlands, passed away on November 24, 2016. Mr. Dombrowski graduated from the University of Redlands with a B.A. in Business Management and an M.A in Human Resources Management. He served in the U.S. Navy for 23 years in Naval Aviation, followed by a career with Lockheed Martin Technical Services Co., in Human Resources, at Ontario, CA. He was a 38 year resident of Redlands; A member of the Redlands Elks Lodge #583, where he served as Exalted Ruler of Redlands Elks Lodge from 1996-1997 and also served as District Deputy Grand Exalted Ruler with the Elks from 2001-2002. He was also a member of the American Legion. He was a long time San Diego Chargers season ticket holder and he loved old movies, particularly those with John Wayne.
He was married on April 26, 1961, at the Naval Chapel in Coronado, CA, to Sue Dombrowski, his wife of 55 years.
He is also survived by his children, David Hubbard of Oklahoma City, OK; Donna Larson of Shawnee, OK; Christine Pollitt of Riverside, CA; Julia Green of Yucaipa, CA, and seven grandchildren.
Services with Military Honors will be held at Riverside National Cemetery on Friday December 9, 2016 at 1:45pm.
