Richard Alvin Dick Doty

Richard Dick Alvin Doty Richard Alvin Doty, age 90, passed away on April 30, 2010. He was born June 30, 1919 in Los Angeles California to Earl and Mabelle Doty. Richard graduated from Alhambra High School in 1936 and he went on to Frank Wiggins College in Los Angeles and got a 2 year degree in auto mechanics in 1938. He also served in The United States Navy from 1942 to 1945. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Savanna Doty. Richard is survived by his sons, Kenneth E. Doty of Yucaipa, CA and Michael E. (Caranne) Doty of Anaheim Hills, CA; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 6th, 2010, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 35208 Yucaipa Blvd.,Yucaipa, CA with Graveside to follow on Friday, May 7th, 2010 at 1:00pm at San Gorgonio Memorial Park, 2201 N. San Gorgonio Ave., Banning, CA. A Celebration of his life will follow on Friday, May 7th, 2010 at 2:30pm at Bryant Street Baptist Church, 13456 Bryant Street, Yucaipa, CA.
