Peggy Ann Amundsen

Peggy A. Amundsen, 63, of Redlands, CA died Thursday, April 6, 2017.

   She died from complications of a long term illness. She passed away at home with her family by her side. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband; Richard Amundsen, her son's; Allen and Eric and daughter Rachel, her grandson; Caleb, and one sister; Sandra Munger, in San Diego, CA. She was a graduate of Cal State University of San Bernardino with a BA in Economics. She was an employee of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department. 

   Peggy was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota by her parents Don and Joanne Boehner. While her father was in the Navy, the family relocated to Long Beach, California where she met her future husband Richard. Peggy and Richard married in 1972. They started a family shortly after that and settled down in Redlands, California. Peggy enjoyed cooking, baking, and sewing clothing for family. She was very family oriented and loved being a wife and mother. 

   The visitation/viewing will be held at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel at 703 Brookside Ave, Redlands, CA 92373 on Friday, April 14th at 9:00 AM. Services will be held immediately after the viewing at 10:00 AM. Burial services will be held at Hillside Memorial Park, 1540 Alessandro Road, Redlands, CA 92373 at 11:30 AM.
