Norma Laverne Lusardi

June 15, 1935 — October 19, 2018

Memorial Services for Norma LaVerne (Clayton) Lusardi, 83, of Bloomington, California will be held November 11th, 2018 at the Masonic Lodge, 6785 Palm Ave, Riverside, CA 92506 at 11:00 AM.  She entered into the presence of the Lord, October 19, 2018 at Kaiser Permanente Riverside Medical Center after a brief illness.  Recently, she was a resident of Meridian Senior Care in Riverside.     

Born June 15, 1935 to Efton Eugene Clayton and Deortha LaVerne (Guthrie) Clayton in Amarillo, Texas, the family relocated to Napa Valley community of Calistoga, California.  Her elementary school classmates included former UCLA and Philadelphia Eagles Head Coach Dick Vermeil. 

After graduating from Santa Monica High, Santa Monica, California, she attended San Bernardino Valley College and graduated with an Associate in Arts degree; Liberal Arts. 

She married Edward Marino Lusardi and became a lifelong resident of Bloomington.  She served as the Paraprofessional inside the computer lab for the Plato Program system for the Colton Unified School District.  After thirty loyal and dedicated years she retired in 2007.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Millard (Jack) Jackson Clayton, husband, Edward Marino Lusardi, Bloomington, son, Edward Marino Lusardi Jr., Bloomington, daughter, Dena LaVerne (Lusardi) Wallner, and grandson Michael Scott Batcha, Rialto.

She leaves behind her brother, Efton Eugene Clayton, Jr., Sacramento and daughter Vanessa Marie (Lusardi) Batcha, Rialto.  Family includes, son-in-law, Ron Batcha, Rialto, granddaughter, Jacqueline Christine (Batcha) Schwab, husband Dominic Schwab, and great-granddaughter Nikki Schwab of Rialto; son-in-law, Edwin Wallner, and granddaughter, Anna Wallner, and grandson, James Wallner, Reno, Nevada.

She was the Worthy Matron, in 1987 and 1992, Order of the Eastern Star, Orange Blossom Chapter 488, Fontana, California.  Emmerson-Bartlett Mortuaries of Redlands handled arrangements and internment will be at the St. Helena Cemetery, St. Helena, California.
