Margaret Louise Mullen

May 19, 1933 — December 6, 2017

Margaret Louise (Aston) Mullen, known as Peggy born May 19, 1933 in Scranton, PA went to be with our Lord and Savior December 6, 2017.  She suffered from Alzheimer’s over the past 10 years.  Preceded in death by her husband Dan and son Ken.  She was the youngest of 3 girls, Marilyn, passed October 2013 and oldest sister Dorothy age 91 is still living in Pennsylvania. Peggy’s parents both passed away when she was 11 and 12 years of age.  She was raised by her mother’s sister and husband, Mary and Harold Salsbery. They had two sons and Peggy quickly referred to them as brothers, Bill of Taylor, Wisconsin and Dave of San Jose, California.  She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Owens, husband Randy of Castle Rock, Colorado, their three sons, Nathan his wife Alix, their two sons Ryan and Asher of Twin Falls, Idaho and Joshua, his girlfriend Allison of Centennial, Colorado and Adam and wife Julia of Lone Tree, Colorado.  And loved by many family members and friends not mentioned.

Peggy enjoyed hiking in the high Sierras, most predominantly Twin Lakes, California.  She also was one of Arnie’s Army (Arnold Palmer) attending the Bob Hope Classic for over 25 years.  Peggy very much enjoyed music of all sorts but especially Christian hymns, Classical and any music she could dance to.  She is a devote Christian and lived the life God intended us to live our lives.  Be joyful with us knowing she is in the presence of our Savior, will be missed here on earth but we know she’s in heaven with loved ones and is still with us always.
