Margaret Isabel Howard

Margaret "Peg" Howard passed away peacefully after spending a 3-day Thanksgiving weekend with all of her children, grand children and great-grandchildren on December 12, 2011 in Redlands, California. She was born in Daytona Beach, Florida on March 10, 1918 to Maude and Edward Dudley. She was predeceased by her Husband, William E. Howard in 2006. They were married in Santa Monica, California on September 1, 1940. Together they had three children and are survived by Sydney Silverman, Stephen Howard and Kathy Meyer. Peg had a B.S. in Education from the University of Redlands, where she graduated in 1940. She worked as a secondary school teacher in Redlands for 2 years after graduating. She was an avid golfer and member of Redlands Country Club; member of Breakfast Club and served as a Girl Scouts leader for many years. She was Redlands Country Club Woman's Golf Champion 3 different years. President of the Golf Association and Breakfast Club President. She was an outstanding bridge player.
