Margaret Anne Hagstrom

Margaret Anne Hagstrom, age 78 of Loma Linda, California passed away on May 10, 2009 in Loma Linda. She was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and later moved to New York where she married Harold William Hagstrom. Margaret raised 5 children and was able to earn her teaching degree. Tragedy hit in 1967 when her husband died unexpectedly. Margaret moved her family to Redlands shortly thereafter to be with her brother. She was a resident of Redlands for 32 years before moving to Loma Linda. As a teacher, she taught at Kimberly School and Sacred Heart. She also was a home teacher for disabled children as well as children at Loma Linda s Children s Hospital. She was an avid swimmer and as a teenager, was part of a traveling water ballet show. Some of her hobbies include reading, crossword puzzles, and decorating. After her children were grown she had the opportunity to tour Europe. Margaret is survived by her children, son, Sean Edward Hagstrom, daughter, Ingrid Louise Vient, son, Leo William Hagstrom and 9 grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, May 18, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Redlands. Private interment will be held at Hillside Memorial Park, Redlands.
