Lydia Simao Benevides, loving wife of the late August Benevides and daughter of Manuel and Emilia Simao, passed away on August 17, 2015 at home in Redlands, California. She was formerly of Bristol, Rhode Island and St. Helena, California. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 1:00pm at St. Helena Catholic Church in St. Helena, California followed by a graveside service at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org
