Lester Alvin Plotner, Sr.

Lester Alvin Plotner Sr., 77, of Redlands died Monday, October 24, 2016 at Kaiser Hospital, Fontana surrounded by his treasured family.  He is survived by his loving wife Marie of 55 years and devoted children; daughters Pamela Stephenson of Redlands and Dr. Grace Phelps of Redlands, sons Lester Plotner Jr of Montana and Chet Plotner of Louisiana.  He was also survived by 12 adoring grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 3 sisters and 5 brothers.
He was born in Las Vegas, New Mexico to Wes and Evelyn Plotner.  Les enjoyed family time, playing cards, sports of all kinds and was an all-around great athlete.  He worked at Kaiser Steel/CSI for over 32 years.  Les was a man who cherished his family and he was proud of the accomplishments of his children and grandchildren.
The services will be held Tuesday, November 1st, at Emmerson-Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Ave. at 1:00p.m.
