Leona Margaret Murrell

Leona M. Murrell passed away December 02, 201l at her residence in Calimesa, Ca of natural causes she was 101 years old when she died. She was born in Lebanon Ohio. Leona Murrell s husband past away in 1988 in Sun City, Arizona where they lived for 14+ years. She Stayed in Arizona until 1996 when she came to live with her only child Marlene(Marty) Murrells s home in Yucaipa, Ca. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Yucaipa. She spent from 1996 to 2007 volunteering her time at the church, singing, or playing the piano or organ, at wedding, bridal showers, funerals and entertaining the sick at Braswells. She was a very talented lady with a giving heart and will be sadly missed but wonderfully remembered. She is survived by her daughter Marlene R. Murrell of Calimesa, Ca. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Sunland Memorial Park in Sun City, Arizona. Emmerson Bartlett Assisted the family with arrangements.
