Kathryn Neblett Hobart

Kathryn Neblett Hobart passed away on February 6, 2012 at home surrounded by family in Redlands, Ca. Kathy was born on February 28, 1947 in Redlands to Doris and Jack Neblett, who preceeded Kathy in death in 2003. She was an only child, and a lifelong resident of Redlands. She was a member of Kimberly Juniors during high school and graduated from Redlands High School, class of 1964. Kathy married Brian Hobart on November 10, 1966. Although they divorced, they remained close friends until the very end. She is survived by her son John Hobart and his son Kyle; her daughter Jeni (Rich) Weigel and their children Brody and Piper. Kathy was a travel agent for Laura's Travel Service from the 1970's-1982, a Library Assistant at Cope Jr. High from 1982-1989. She moved to Orange County in 1989 and was a County Clerk at the Orange County Municipal Courthouse. She moved back to Redlands in 1997 and was a Computer Lab/Receptionist at Redlands High School from 1997-2008. Upon Retirement in 2008 she enjoyed 3 bowling leagues, played bridge. She loved her swimming pool, gardening and jig saw puzzles. Above all though, she especially loved to dance. A memorial service will be held on Saturday February 25, 2012 at 11:00AM at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel in Redlands. In Lieu of flowers, Kathy would have loved donations to be sent in her name to the Redlands Animal Shelter.
