Karan England Hanes passed away Sunday, November 4, 2012 surrounded by her four loving children Tracey, Scott, Bryce, Regan and devoted husband, Jerry, of 49 years. She is also survived by her 10 adoring grandchildren, older brother, Barry and younger sister Kathy. Karan was born in Tooele, Utah to Marva and Grant England. She is preceded in death by her brother Brent and her parents. She was a long time resident of San Bernardino and resided the last sixteen years in Yucaipa. Karan had retired from the San Bernardino City Unified School District. As a life long member of the LDS church, she held various positions of service. Most recently, she served as an ordinance worker in the LDS Redlands temple. Karan spent all of her adult life helping, loving and serving those around her, especially her family. She will be greatly missed by family and friends alike. Service will be held at the Calimesa LDS church at 306 W. Avenue L on Friday, November 9, 2012 at 11:00 am. Viewing from 9:30 am to 10:30 am.
