Julia Ann (Saldana) Barbo

Julia Ann (Saldana) Barbo, lifetime resident of Redlands, passed away on September 6, 2014 at her home with her family by her side. Julia, Kiki , was born in Redlands on February 16, 1935. Julia married her childhood sweetheart, Joe Barbo, in 1953. They were married 56 years at the time of his passing in 2010. Julia dedicated her life to being a homemaker and supportive mother and grandmother. Julia is survived by her four daughters; Judy Barbo-Partain and Jo Barbo of Redlands; daughters and sons-in-law Marie and Ralph Torres of Redlands and Julie and Michael Garcia of Mentone; grandsons Richard Rivera and Joseph Garcia; and great-granddaughter Anabelle Grace Rivera. She is also survived by brother Rudy Gardea of Highland, sisters Betty Saldana and Teresa Moreno, sister and brother-in-law Marie and Arcadio Lara, and brothers Tony and Ernie Saldana, all of Redlands. Memorial Services will be at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, September 15, 2014 at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Ave, Redlands, CA to be followed by interment at Montecito Memorial Park in Colton, CA.
