Johnny Lorene Pickney Firetag

Johnny Lorene Pickney Firetag was born March 31, 1914 in Bonnerdale, Arkansas to Edward Louis Pickney and Lucy Songer Pickney. She passed away on February 21, 2010 in Redlands, California after a long illness. She lived in Escondido for many years with her beloved husband, Leo, she then moved to Redlands after his death. She moved to Redlands to be closer to her sister, Polly , where they played many games of Dominoes and Spite and Malice. She is survived by a brother, James Pickney and Jean, of Texas and a sister, Olene Barham of OK. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Helene Wernick and her husband Marvin of California and adopted daughter, Judy Durham, of Ohio and many nieces and nephews. Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2010 at 1:00pm at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California. Family under the care of Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, Redlands, CA.
