John Karns Goacher

John Karns Goacher, 80, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at home surrounded by loved ones.

He was born November 6, 1936 in Sparks, KS to John David and Dorthea (Jewell) Goacher.

He was a graduate of Wathena High School in 1956.

He enjoyed fishing, camping, and gardening. John touched many lives. Building not just a beautiful family and many good friends, but crafting many custom pieces of fine oakwood furniture and cabinetry for their home and loved ones. Most of all, he loved spending time with his wife, family and good friends.

John Goacher was preceded in death by his parents, John David and Dorthea Jewell Goacher; four brothers, David Ira, William Edward, Elmer Leroy, and Henry Edward Goacher; two sisters, Nola Jean Miller and Clara Helen Whitten.

Surviving: His wife, Carolyn Goacher; three sons, John Anthony Goacher of Mission, TX; Christopher Pepple and wife Kristina Pepple of Morongo, CA; Steven Pepple and wife Erika Pepple of Yucaipa, CA; one daughter, Tamera Arial of Yucaipa, CA; one brother, Carrol Wayne Goacher and wife Sharon Goacher of San Bernardino, CA; four granddaughters, Allyson and Emma Pepple; Cassie Baccus; Mindy Goacher, great-grandson, Clayton Baccus; and several nieces and nephews.

Celebration of life: 11 am Thursday July, 20 at Pathways Church located on 611 E Cyprus Ave. Redlands, CA 92374.
