Joe T. Lopez

JOE T. LOPEZ Was born on August 19, 1933 in Fort Bayard, NM. He passed away March 29, 2015 at home in Redlands surrounded by family. Joe joined the U.S. Army in 1953, and married his wife Leonor on November 1, 1953. He worked at St. Bernadine Medical Center in housekeeping for 20+ years. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Leonor Lopez; brothers Johnny Lopez, Richard Lopez, and Arnold Lopez; sisters Teri Lopez, Tommy Barrela, Sally Lucero, Feta Amijio, and Louisa Lopez; and daughter Emily Gonzales, He is survived by his wife Leonor Lopez of 61 years; brother George Lopez; sister Antonia Chapin; daughter Lillian Torres (Dennis); son Chris Lopez (Linda); son-in-law Jerry Gonzales; five grandchildren Melinda Torres, D.J. Torres, Michelle Gonzales, Lacee Domon, and Tracee Lopez. Also 10 great grandchildren Isaiah, Emily, Leah, Noah, Mia, Joey, Lyla, Angelo, Nisa, and Daniel; and many other family members and friends. He was a devoted husband (honey), dad, and grandpa (Papa Joe). He enjoyed being with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed, we love you Papa Joe. Rosary is April 6th at 7pm at Emmerson Bartlett, 703 Brookside Ave. in Redlands. Mass service is April 7th at 10am at The Holy Name of Jesus, 115 W. Olive Ave. in Redlands with internment to follow at Hillside Memorial Park, 1540 Alessandro Rd. in Redlands.
