James Richard Dixon

March 26, 1957 — December 28, 2011

James Richard Dixon was born in Glendale, California on March 26, 1957 to Loretta and James Dixon. He passed away on December 28, 2011 in Banning, California. He is survived by his wife, whom he married on November 5, 1994 in Las Vegas, Kim Dixon. His children: Marcie Dixon, Rob Dixon, Lori Angelini and Cody Butler-Dixon. His siblings: Jess and Randy Dixon. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren. James got his GED and at middle age, continued his education to earn two degrees - Associates of Science in Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He also received his Competent Communicator Certificate with Toast Masters. He worked as a Western Regional Manager for Global Rental. In 1991 he co-founded The Recovering Alumni Association and served on the board of directors where he has been a leader, member and a volunteer. He also co-founded, in 1992, the RAA TLC Sober Living Homes and has continued to serve on the committee as leader and volunteer providing a safe environment for those who needed help in changing their lives. James philosophy in life is to be a good person from the inside out. Do the very best you can in everything you do. Always attempt new things, even if you think you won't like it. Make a bucket list and live it. A Memorial Service will be held at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel in Redlands on Wednesday January 4, 2011 at 11:00 AM.
