James Lee Logan

James Lee Logan, 68, died February 18, 2011, at his home in Yucaipa. Born September 25, 1942, in Danville, Illinois to James and Marjorie Logan, he lived in Yucaipa for the past 20 years. Jim served with distinction in the U.S. Marine Corps for 24 years, retiring as a master sergeant. He was a Vietnam veteran. Following the service, he worked at the post office as an electronic technician for 18 years. He was a member of the American Legion and the Vet erans of Foreign Wars. He was also an avid fan of NASCAR and enjoyed classic cars and motorcycles. He also loved watching his grandchildren play sports and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Donna Logan of Yu caipa; sons Bob Brace of Minnesota; Scott Logan and Steve Brace of Moreno Valley; daughter Jennifer Logan Beets of Yucaipa; 13 grandchildren and one great-grand-daughter, as well as his two brothers and sisters in Illinois and one brother in South Carolina. He was a loving father, grandfather and brother and will be truly missed. Memorial services will be held on March 2 at 11:30 a.m. at Riverside National Cemetery, Staging Area 3. Family under the care of Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, Yucaipa, CA.
