Joan Alice Peterson

February 22, 1932 — October 27, 2021

Joan Alice Peterson was met in heaven by her loving husband Gerald Peterson and beautiful Great Granddaughter Savanah Rome Peterson on the 27th Day of October in the year 2021 at 3 o’clock in the afternoon. Some of Joan’s accomplishments included her 64 year marriage to the love of her life Gerald Peterson, owning a popular wine and cheese shop in Redlands, CA, but the thing that Joan was the most proud of was her family, she always showed up for her family, whether it was a family sporting event or a school concert she was always the loudest cheer leader. Joan always hosted Sunday dinners and wanted her family to be the center of her life, her happiest moments were around the dinner table laughing and loving her family. Joan was a dedicated mother to her 3 sons Jeff, Jay and Jerry but her family has grown to include her daughter in-laws Vera, Susan and Gale; her 9 grandchildren Rachel, Amy, Aaron, Clayton, Samantha, Joshua, Jason, Amber and Lucy; and several great grandchildren whom all loved her greatly. A viewing with the family will be held at Emmerson-Bartlett Memorial Chapel (35208 Yucaipa Blvd, Yucaipa, CA 92399) on November 30th at 10 am - 11:30 am followed by a private grave-site ceremony at Riverside National Cemetery Riverside, CA.
