Henry D. Hank Dryman

Henry David Dryman was born September 9, 1929 to John and Gladys Dryman in Chattanooga, Tennessee and passed away January 16, 2011 at his home in Cherry Valley, California. Known to everyone as Hank, he is followed in death by his wife of 42 years, Beverly Dryman, who died on November 30, 2011. Hank is survived by his children Andrew Dryman, Exelia Ann Dryman, Julie Lancy, Paul Champion and daughter-in-law Denise Champion. He is also survived by his brother Jim Valentine, sister-in-law Beth Valentine, and his brother Frank Valentine. He was a loving grandfather and great-grandfather who leaves behind seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Hank was a devoted husband, dad and grandpa who enjoyed fishing, nature, traveling, the casino, a good prime rib, pinochle and cribbage, western movies and audio books. He was a hardworking self-made man with an entrepreneurial spirit. Following his retirement as a truck driver for Continental Bakeries, and with the help of his wife and son Andy, Hank began a successful wholesale pet supply business known as Fine Feathered Friends. In 1993 he sold the business and moved to Cherry Valley, California where he lived the remainder of his days. Everyone who knew Hank was blessed by the experience. To meet him was to gain a lifelong friend. He was a big man with a big heart who was strong, kind, generous and caring. He is greatly missed by all who loved him.
