Hazel Marie Oropeza

On the morning of April 2, 2022. Hazel Oropeza of San Bernardino passed away at the age of 60.

Hazel was born on February 3, 1962 in San Bernardino CA. Hazel was an amazing grandmother, mother and an amazing wife to Rigoberto Oropeza of 40 years. Hazel had such a big heart filled with love and a beautiful soul. Hazel always had her home opened to all family. Hazel treasured her time spent with her kids and grandchildren. Her free time she enjoyed the casino’s.

Hazel will live on through her children and their family's daughter and son in-law Connie, Frankie Torres; daughter Alicia Oropeza; son and son in-law Rigoberto, Eric Jasper; son and fiancé Carlos, Madeleine Oropeza; her youngest daughter Leticia Oropeza; her grandchildren Mikel, Frankie III, Aaron, Mathew, Rudy, Irum, Laylay, Jayla, Sarai, Ava, lil Carlos and Rigo; Hazel is also survived by her mother Elizabeth Chavez; her four brothers Roy, Sammy Charlie and Joe; her three sisters Elizabeth, Becky and Yolanda; all her niece’s and nephew’s that will miss her dearly. Hazel didn’t only share her mother love with her own children. She shared her mother love with all children in her life. Hazel’s big warm heart will live on through memories to everyone she touched until we meet again.

Viewing will be held at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel on Tuesday May 10, 2022 from 4pm-8pm
followed by Services on Wednesday May 11, 2022 at Emmerson Bartlett Chapel 10am, The burial will
follow right after.
