Gloria Diane Mowbray

Gloria Diane Mowbray went to be with the Lord on April 1, 2021 at her home in Redlands, CA. Gloria was born to Robert and Mildred Hessong on December 3, 1944 in Hagerstown, Maryland. She was a 27 year residence of Redlands, CA at the time of her passing.
Gloria married her husband John Mowbray June 15, 1963. They moved to California in 1966 and started a small tree trimming company in 1974. Gloria helped her husband run the family business while caring for their four children. In 1993 John suffered a work related accident leaving him with a severe head injury. Gloria then took over the business and became the first Women Minority Owned business to contract with Southern California Edison. She was considered a pioneer in the Utility Line Clearance Industry. Her company is still thriving today with over 1400 employees.
Gloria leaves behind her husband John Mowbray of 58 years and their four children, sons Richard Mowbray and Randy Mowbray, daughters Rhonda Ramirez and Robin Mowbray along with her 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and her grandson Bobby now together in heaven.
Gloria was very kind and generous, and will be missed immensely by everyone that knew her.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 14th, 2021, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Avenue, Redlands, CA 92373.
Interment will be Private at Hillside Memorial Park, Redlands, CA.
