George Lee Campeau

George Lee Campeau, age 61, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of October 1, 2014, after a 14-month battle with melanoma cancer. George was born in Milford, Utah; one of 4 sons born to Retha Mae and George Arleigh Campeau. George was an avid outdoorsman. He liked hunting, fishing, camping, and loved sports of all kinds. The last four years of his life were spent enjoying the full-time rving lifestyle with his wife, Penny, traveling the states in their motorhome. This not only gave him the chance to host campgrounds along the way, but it also afforded him the opportunity to spend time with his grandchildren, which is what he enjoyed most. There was a special place in Grandpa George s heart for his grandbabies. George was preceded in death by his father, George Arleigh Campeau; and his mother, Retha Mae Campeau. George is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Penny Campeau; sons and daughters-in-law, Guthrie and Nichole Griffin, Arleigh and Candice Campeau; son, Trever; daughter, Tanya; step-daughter, Nicole Cliff; grandchildren, Bryant, Finleigh, Mackenzie, Oaklee, Samantha, Wrangler, Xoe; brothers, Greg, Scott, and Alan. Comfort and peace is found in knowing that George is now in the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. A small gathering of family and close friends will be held in the near future to celebrate George s life.
