Frances Fina Cowie

FRANCES FINA COWIE, 87, of Mentone passed away peacefully with her family by her side Wednesday, October 24, 2012. Born in Long Island, New York. She graduated from Huntington High School in 1942. Came to California in 1945 and has lived in Mentone since 1962. A wonderful woman with many talents. After graduating from drafting school, she became a commercial artist, she also sold real estate for many years. Her most rewarding roles was as a mother to her three daughters, though she was called "Mom" by many, a true angel on earth. She was married to Philip Cowie for 53 years with his passing, November 6th, 2011, also preceased by daughter, Mary Bohaty. She is survived by daughters, Kathy Goins (Brad), Bernie Crim (Bob), 5 garndchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. Memorial Service will be held at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel in Redlands, CA on Thursday, November 1st, at 2:00pm
